Access

We look forward to welcoming you to St Etheldreda's and St Luke's churches. If you have any queries or require any assistance please contact the Church Office.

St. Etheldreda’s

St. Etheldreda’s church is located at the top of a steep hill.

For Sunday services and church visiting during the week parking can be found in Hatfield House, which includes a short, relatively flat, walk to the church.

The church itself does not have specific disabled access, although cars can park in the churchyard at certain times.

If you are wanting to visit the church during the week whilst it is open to visitors access involves a couple of steps.

During services the South side of the church, which is step free, is open.

If you are attending a wedding, christening or funeral those with access issues will need to be dropped off in the churchyard before the arrival of bridal or funeral cars.  On these occasions the South side door, with step free access, can be opened.

During services wheelchairs can be accommodated within the building.

St Luke’s

St Luke’s church is fully accessible. In summer the West Door is open, which is easy for access. This can be opened at other times on request.

During services wheelchairs can be accommodated at the back or front.

Toilet facilities

Please note that there are no toilet facilities in either St. Etheldreda’s or St. Luke’s churches.
